Something occurred to me today:
If there is really is something that could be called “the soul”, and it was immortal, then that would mean that you could live…forever.
Limitless possibilities come from this point, and it really makes me think: did I do the right thing in my life?
Were all the things I did worth it, the things that those people hate me for?
I remind myself that it was for the betterment of my people, and my family.
Though as I face my death, I have the impending anxiety that I will burn in hell…I mustn’t be so hard on myself. I tell myself that it will all pay off in the end, that my cause was not for nothing.
I stare at your dead body now, Eva. It sits on the floor, motionless. Your eyes see nothing. Your skin is slowly turning white as I watch you, all the normalcy in it diminishing. I can tell that the pill has done its job. I have closed your eyes for you, so that you can sleep in peace.
I love you so much, Eva. I will see you soon.
-Adolf Hitler’s suicide note, dated 1945. Found by an American medic, was recorded, then burned.
NOT FUCKING RUSSIANS THEY WERE SOVIETS! USSR WAS NOT JUST RUSSIANS FOR FUCK’S SAKE.
MY GREAT GRANDFATHER (Azerbaijani) WERE RIGHT ON THERE IN BERLIN.
SEE NOT JUST FUCKING RUSSIANS GODDDAMNIITTT.
FUUUUUUUCCCKKKKK!
I find it interesting that he would kill his wife and then later
go missing and never be found
since he was willing to kill his wife
Great Pasta, short and to the point. Forces you out of your comfort zone, makes you emphasize with him.
Even though this is fake, you can’t help but wonder wether he did think about these things. No matter what he did he was still a person with a mother,a father and a family.
It let’s you see from the bad guy’s perspective. Being the young people that we are (the people who read this sight) we didn’t live through world war 2, and we didn’t know Hitler’s terror first hand. It makes you think about how Hitler was a man. An evil one, but still a human being. He had feelings and he had determination, despite what he was doing with it.
I’m not a Hitler follower. No in Hell’s way. But it made me think about how we view people and their reputations.
marvelous giving humanity to what we consider a monster…and he was an evil man
Not scary, but it makes a person think doesn’t it? 9/10 breads!
Really wasn’t scary, but it did make me think.
That was good I don’t think I’ve read a pasta where someone used a real hated person like Adolf Hitler before
While surprisingly good at imitating his written speech pattern, this wonderful little story is obviously fake for many reasons. If anyone is interested, closest thing to a suicide note tat is known to have been left by Adolf Hitler is part of his last will and testament.
“I myself and my wife [Eva Braun, married that same day] – in order to escape the disgrace of deposition or capitulation – choose death. It is our wish to be burnt immediately on the spot where I have carried out the greatest part of my daily work in the course of a twelve years’ service to my people.”
Yes UltimatePasta is correct, the Americans were busy in the Pacific while the Russians and other allies were invading Germany. Aside from that, intresting choice for a pasta. It was not very scary if that was your intention, but job well done none the less.
You do know that the Russians were present, not the Americans?
Interesting prospect to have an infamous figure head speaking with words of nobility. An odd way to hold up a mirror to humanity, but I like it.
Why are there no comments on this yet? This pasta was delicious!
