Shutter Click
I found an old Polaroid camera at a yard sale. It was even still loaded with film. Excited, I just took a picture of myself in the living room. However, when the photo was developed, there was a shadowy figure standing behind me, its hollow eyes staring straight into the camera lens. I was home alone.
So I tore the photo into pieces and threw the camera away. But that night I thought I heard the click of a shutter in the darkness. By the next morning, a new photo was sitting on my nightstand. The figure was closer this time, its face only inches from mine.
Now, whenever the lights go out, I hear that click… and it’s getting louder…
no way its the movie polaroid-
I haven’t seen that movie. Is it any good?
I guess the concept itself is pretty simple, so it may have been in many other media.
Nice one. Had the same concept idea once but didn’t really make it into anything
I’m curious about your take on the concept. It’s never too late to expand on a cool idea! =]
Well it would be about a camera; whenever you took a picture of something, it would get distorted on film, then on real life
Oo, interesting. I’m down with that idea! =]
It was different from most of your other stories.
It’s been a couple of years since I’ve written any new stories. Trying to get the creative juicies flowing. xD
Literally got this idea from an old camera I found in my father’s attic.
