Hidden faces volume 1

in #thriller • 4 months ago

The rain fell endlessly from the black sky, turning the city into a maze of reflections and shadows. Neon lights shimmered across wet streets while thousands of people continued their lives without realizing that monsters walked among them. To the world, everything was normal. People worked, laughed, argued, and dreamed about tomorrow. Nobody knew that humanity was sharing the planet with an ancient species hidden behind stolen faces. Nobody knew that the person standing next to them on a…

I have to pretend to be dead for my wife

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

I have to pretend to be dead for my wife and I am in quite a strange situation right now within my relationship. I used to do drama back in my school days so I know a few things here and there about acting. Me and my wife before the birth of our first baby, we were completely normal and loved doing things together and talking to each other. We went on dates and travelled to other countries like how most loved up couples do. Then things got serious and I asked her to marry me and she loved the…

the building where every flat has the same number

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

Next to where I live there is a load of residential buildings which have been popping all over the main cities and it’s because most people these days cannot afford a proper house like they could back in the day. Residential buildings are usually well protected with the use of personal fob cards and concierges making sure everyone, and everything is safe within the residential building. Anyhow, my friend Rodney told me that there is a residential building the where doors are open 24/7 and that…

Home sweet home

in #horror • 6 months ago

I feel the cold object in the palm of my hand as it's being handed to me. A key. I've saved up enough for my own place and feel a sense of joy as the small object almost freezes my hand. However the temperature of it changes quickly as the warmth in my hand turns the object lukewarm. The old man before me, still seems a little on edge. "You remember what I've told you before right? You can still give back the key if you don't want this place."

The Violet Lady

in #horror • 1 month ago

Once upon a time, back to when I was young. I played and laughed with the shadows of my room. A fall night, she came. late into the night, in her violet dress and veil; she spoked softly to me. "Little one, why still wide wake?" she asked. I didn't reply, I didn't speak. I stared at her.

i regret changing billys belief in ghosts

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

I never believed in ghosts because just the very idea of it sounded so stupid and unrealistic. My two friends billy and warren believed in ghosts and they would always force me to go with them into dark, old and large buildings. I also find souls and spirits to be an absurd idea and who ever even invented them clearly was trying to control people. I also find Halloween extremely absurd and stupid but there is the odd occasion I get scared by a horror film or even an urban legend.

Nothing out of the ordinary

in #horror • 1 month ago

It's late and I've just gotten home from work, I walk up to the front door and stick my key in. When the familiar, soft click reaches my ears I push it open. Behind it the dark hallway greets me. Normally I don't hesitate to enter, but today something feels... off. I remain standing just outside, staring inside the building. It looks the way it has always looked. It smell the way it has always smelled. So what is it that makes me feel this way?

October

in #horror • 6 days ago

In shadows of October dawn Was when the sickness came Foul breath of death wanton Denizens plagued in blain . I saw from high window As death drew nigh in tow Courier sent afar Then close my door ajar . As the leaves grew redder And the days grew dire My flock grew fettered Flayed upon the pyre . Cast in glow of dying wick I, too, could feel the sick Solitude in this shadowy hour Locked away inside this tower . Rolling past autumn plains Haze of grey sinks low

Disney Kills

Many people say Disney is a shady company for many reasons, but not everyone truly knows what's going on with them. Some people say the tunnels hide something; some say there used to be a tropical resort; some even say Disney kills.

The King's Dreaded Warning

in #mystery • 1 month ago

It is a new and so far prosperous day when we are called to the King's chamber and so we come with high spirits. Under the old king's watchful gaze we listened to his words with both eyes and ears as wide as the kingdom gates in which the people of the land came forth for their daily business. "Do not leave the kingdom walls after nightfall." Said his Majesty, eyes widened with terror "For if you are to go forth then I cannot keep you from the wild things in which will find you"

Blackwood Hollow Chapter 5

in #horror • 2 months ago

Father did not sleep that night. Neither did I. After the fourth call faded into the mountains, he checked every door and window in the house twice. Then he pulled a chair beside the front door, laid the shotgun across his knees and remained there until morning. Nobody talked much. Mother took Thomas into their room. Evelyn stayed downstairs. She sat wrapped in a blanket near the stove, occasionally looking toward the windows whenever the house creaked.

He Told Me To Kill Her

in #thriller • 2 months ago

It started as a whisper in the static. I bought the old farmhouse on the edge of Blackwood township because the price was impossibly low, and the solitude was exactly what I needed to finish my thesis. Clara, my girlfriend of three years, was hesitant to move out there with me, but she eventually agreed, hoping the fresh air would do us both some good. We were wrong.

Seamless Julian

in #creepypasta • 2 months ago

Julian Vance had always been the forgotten child. While other teenagers spent their weekends with friends, he spent his days in the basement restoring antique dolls and carving porcelain into lifelike figures that seemed capable of almost breathing. Every scratch of his tools hushed the noise in his head, a place where nobody could interrupt him. His younger sister, Chloe, however, always found a way. To her, breaking Julian's creations was entertainment, and to their parents, it was simply…

Pets: Chapter 2 The Slaughter

in #scifi • 4 months ago

Mama was holding the goat by the horns while wearing garden gloves, still avoiding touching the horns with bare skin. “Untie those,” she said referring to the rope used to tie the goat to the column. I began to unfasten the rope from the goat’s neck. It started to jerk its head, uncomfortable with how she was being handled. “Don’t touch the horns,” her voice stern but low.

The Lost BRAD Video

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

On a Saturday afternoon, I was watching BRAD: The Movie (I liked how BRAD and Jamie get into a relationship at the end of the movie) until I heard the doorbell ring. I paused the movie to go see who was there. Just as I answered the door, no one was there, but I noticed a DVD and a note on my front porch. I took it inside.

I Kissed a Ghost and I Liked It! (Part 2)

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

“Well, that was ominous!” I said putting the can back on the shelf. “Totally! Maybe we are haunted!” Rudy said jokingly. “That would be kind of awesome!” I jokingly said back. Oh, how right we were, and we did not even know it yet. So, we finally called it a night and went to sleep. The next morning, I got up like usual and hopped into the shower. The water pressure in this house was nice and the water got hot, and it always left fresh fog on the mirrors. I turned off the water and stepped out…

The child is watching

in #creepypasta • 5 months ago

The ring light is staring at me like a cold, neon eye. I hate how much I need it. "Okay, so for the night-time routine, consistency is literally everything," I tell the camera, rubbing the serum into my cheeks. I'm watching the little heart icons bubble up the side of the screen. 1.8k viewers. My pulse does that little flutter, the one that feels like winning. "If you aren't double-cleansing, you're basically just..."
