Welcome to Nightscribe (the “Service”). Nightscribe provides an online platform where users can write, publish, read, and engage with fictional stories and related content.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Nightscribe.
Nightscribe is not intended for individuals under the age of 16, and accounts created by users under 16 are not permitted.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Account Deletion
If you initiate account deletion:
Your account will enter a pending deletion period of 14 days.
During this period, your account and content will be inaccessible.
You may reverse the deletion request during the pending period.
After the pending period, your account and associated content will be permanently deleted.
3. User Conduct & Responsibilities
Nightscribe is a community-driven platform. Users are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users
Share or promote hate speech, discriminatory content, or violence
Upload explicit, graphic, or otherwise inappropriate material
Share personal data without proper consent, including your own or others'
Upload or distribute copyrighted material without authorization
Attempt to exploit, disrupt, or compromise the Service or its security
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or restrict access to the Service at our sole discretion if these Terms are violated or if such action is necessary to protect the platform or its users.
4. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you submit to Nightscribe (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you grant Nightscribe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and any consequences resulting from publishing it.
Nightscribe does not endorse or verify user-generated content and disclaims liability arising from it.
All non-user content on Nightscribe, including branding, design, and platform software, is the exclusive property of Nightscribe or its licensors, unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to remove, modify, or restrict access to content at any time, including in response to reports of policy violations or legal requirements.
5. Reporting Content & Copyright Concerns
If you believe content on Nightscribe violates these Terms or infringes your intellectual property rights, please report it using our contact form.
We will review reports in good faith and take appropriate action where necessary.
6. Payments & Future Services
Nightscribe may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or premium services in the future.
If such services are introduced:

You will not be charged without your explicit agreement
