A New Chapter: Nightscribe Is Born
In October, Creepypasta.org, the name we'd used since 2013, became Nightscribe. The new name gives us room for more genres. Whether you enjoy horror, thrillers, mysteries, classic creepypastas, or the plain weird, there's a place for you here.

For the spooky season, we hosted Nightscribe's Hollow Halloween, our first Halloween writing contest. Choosing the winners gave us a lot to debate and a few new nightmares.

Our First Narrations on YouTube
We took a cautious first step into YouTube a few months ago, and it's been wonderful to see so many of you listening.

An End to the Infamous Review Queue
We know how frustrating the wait for review can be. In 2025, we're overhauling our submission process so authors can publish whenever they're ready, while keeping the quality you've come to expect from Nightscribe.
Helping Authors Earn
Next year, we'll also explore ways for authors to earn from their work. We want your author profile to become a place where fans can discover and support what you create.
