o begin with, I should say that I'm not a huge fan of The Simpsons. I haven't watched many episodes, but I do know a few things about it. I remember hearing about the "Dead Bart" storyline, and it was pretty good. Also, I'm a fan of online horror stories. About three days ago, I was looking for horror stories related to The Simpsons. I actually found several good ones and enjoyed reading them. Some were strangely entertaining, like the whole family being burned alive, a character committing…

Our lost, loitering kind paced in infinite death spirals within the confines of our grotty, ghetto pens. Enrichment was sorely that, as well as mumbling our mantras of madness to our audience of one. The BMs anchored to our decayed craniums were garbled with feedback and distortion, their tones bland, colorless, no soul backing them up. A blinding ruby radiance flashed from their cores every second on the second. It was the only manner to determine if we had succumbed to the glorious embrace of…

Hazel Petti was the bane of our existence. By "ours", I don't just mean the students at Clara Perkins Elementary School. Everyone in town had a poor opinion of Ms. Petti, presuming they had the unfortunate luck to meet her. Opinions that ranged from mild annoyance to deep-seated hatred. If you ran a nearby business, no matter what kind, you could bet on Ms. Petti paying a visit now and again. Usually for no other reason than to search for a product or practice to get upset about.

I didn’t want to move there. Even now, when I try to remember the first day in that apartment, it feels wrong somehow, like the memory belongs to somebody else and I only inherited it after they disappeared. My father kept calling it “a fresh start” after my mother died, but nothing about that place felt fresh. The building stood at the far end of the city where the streetlights flickered even before sunset and every balcony looked abandoned. The elevator smelled like wet concrete and…

My father always had this one problem of talking to himself but at least it wasn't in public, as he always made sure he would talk to himself in his special room in our house. Me and my mother have gotten use to it over the years and it became normal in our house hold and we both never really questioned why my father enjoyed to talk to himself. My father didn't have many friends and he enjoyed his own company as he was a bit of a recluse. He did now and then due to the environmental mental…

I have to pretend to be dead for my wife and I am in quite a strange situation right now within my relationship. I used to do drama back in my school days so I know a few things here and there about acting. Me and my wife before the birth of our first baby, we were completely normal and loved doing things together and talking to each other. We went on dates and travelled to other countries like how most loved up couples do. Then things got serious and I asked her to marry me and she loved the…

I remember being 15 years old and me and my family along with two other families who were friends to us, we all went on holiday together. It was amazing and I had lots of people my age to play with and we were all in spain. I remember my mother bought a load of ice cream and she said who ever can hold their breath the longest can have the biggest ice cream and we all held our breath and then all of a sudden I heard something fast coming and everything went black. I remember opening my eyes and…

I am on a body building forum and I have been body building for quite some time now. I am not a professional but I like to do it as a hobby and it had greatly improved my life. I belong to many forums and websites all dedicated to working out and body building and we all give each other advice, its awesome as you get to hang about with people who have the same interest with your own.

Psychology bones - They sound weird, right, but I can feel my own psychology bones and other psychology bones in other people’s minds. Psychology bones aren’t bones for the body, but the mind, they are extremely flexible and cannot be seen by the naked eyes, they are constantly breaking and forming back together and breaking again. They make up the mind and they determine what sort of mind you have and why you think the way you do.

It was a brilliant club to be part of and we were a bunch of 60+ year olds enjoying ourselves, we have our own club or space in a library and the times are from 8-10 Sunday to Tuesday. Mind you, there are only ten of us in this club, but we are a brilliant lot and 5 of the members are retired. It is more of a club for the old and the retired, who have worked all of their lives and we do creative things, from reading scripts, novels to even put on a little show as we have our own stage. We also…

Next to where I live there is a load of residential buildings which have been popping all over the main cities and it’s because most people these days cannot afford a proper house like they could back in the day. Residential buildings are usually well protected with the use of personal fob cards and concierges making sure everyone, and everything is safe within the residential building. Anyhow, my friend Rodney told me that there is a residential building the where doors are open 24/7 and that…

Ever since I dropped out of university the only jobs I ever had was in the security sector and I will be honest I didn’t get my SIA security licence through legal means but knew someone who could get me an SIA licence for a price. I had contacts with all sorts of people within the security sector which is how I got jobs in the first place and in this profession its all about who you know rather than what you know. I bet you don’t feel safe now knowing what the security industry is really like…

I am a cover guard which basically means I only get called to guard places when someone has fallen sick or a last minute emergency has risen. I am put down as self employed by my manager which means I have to deal with my own taxes, and being self employed does give you a lot more freedom than being employed. Like for example I can quit whenever I want and I can decide which shifts I want to work, but I have to work most days because days off are costly. I have been a cover guard for various…

Have you ever been to any kind of club where alcohol flows and where parties can get out of hand? I have and I don’t really like going to clubs, but some of my long time friends seem to like it. We are all at that age where we get into fights and they love showing off how tough they all are in the hopes that some attractive female will like them. The one thing that goes with all clubs or night clubs I don’t know what you call them, are the bouncers or security guards that stand at the front…

I never believed in ghosts because just the very idea of it sounded so stupid and unrealistic. My two friends billy and warren believed in ghosts and they would always force me to go with them into dark, old and large buildings. I also find souls and spirits to be an absurd idea and who ever even invented them clearly was trying to control people. I also find Halloween extremely absurd and stupid but there is the odd occasion I get scared by a horror film or even an urban legend.

I remember being in my young teenage years and I was always dreaming about becoming batman. Me and my two friends were avid comic book readers and we loved superheroes, it didn't matter if it was from DC comics or marvel. My friend Harold wanted to be Xavier and martin wanted to be Spiderman. We all use to dress up and pretend that we were the superheroes and I also remember at that age, we actually believed that the three of us would actually become superheroes.

I live in a small village and nothing rarely exciting ever happens, and its one of those villages where generations pass on traditions to the next generation. I like the area but most of my friends have decided to move towards the big bustling cities where there is noise and excitement. I was just going for a walk on a Sunday morning when I saw a gathering around the park and I knew straight away something had happened. We don’t get much trouble around here and when something does go off it…

I have a teacher at school that teaches a variety of subjects and he is generally well liked, the only strange thing about him is that he doesn't call any student by their real names but by their future potential from his opinion. He comes in class and starts doing the register. "Potential murderer" teacher shouts out and Callum raises his hand as he knows it's him because the teacher always calls him by that name.

She sits there, on the cold concrete ground, blood dripping from her nose and tears gushing from her eyes. She’s wearing a crisp white, now blood stained, button up shirt. Her blazer lays on the ground a foot away underneath the bullies foot. Her necktie hangs idle on her neck, swaying in the cool autumn breeze. A blue pleated skirt covers her knees.

On a Saturday afternoon, I was watching BRAD: The Movie (I liked how BRAD and Jamie get into a relationship at the end of the movie) until I heard the doorbell ring. I paused the movie to go see who was there. Just as I answered the door, no one was there, but I noticed a DVD and a note on my front porch. I took it inside.
