Reader, writer, history nerd, and lover of all things macabre

Hello, I am JosephTheSnail (also known as Joseph, or professionally as Joseph Arrington). I am the author of Burnt Luigi and Sammy the Cat, and the creator of the Five Nights at Prototype Fredbear’s fan game series. I also manage a secondary YouTube channel, JTS, where I produce structured content and original shows such as Joseph’s World.

I use this platform to share a curated selection of my work, including both well-known and lesser-known stories, as well as pieces that have been reposted or translated. I publish selectively based on what best fits this platform. While my work may not appeal to all audiences, I hope readers can find something they enjoy.

Not all of my work is available here. Additional stories can be found on the Spiral Nightmares site hosted by Miraheze, where requests may be submitted. My focus here is primarily on original works; retakes, and certain fanfiction are generally not accepted.

I create long-form Irish folklore 'creepypasta' stories. Not quick jump-scares, but deeply immersive narratives designed for genuine depth. My work features rich, intricate details and slow-burn storytelling that invites readers into fully realised worlds often using real locations, complete with vivid characters whose voices feel authentic and alive. You'll find layered world-building, genuine emotional resonance, and stories that linger in your mind long after you've finished reading.

I previously shared my work on the Creepypasta Fandom site, but due to their abusive admin practices, I have transferred my work to Nightscribe and will be publishing them here exclusively from now on.
